Live In Germany 1980 Rockpalast was filmed at the Grugahalle in Essen, Germany for the Rockpalast TV series. Show finds ZZ Top before sequencers and synthesizers epitomizing their "lil' ol' blues band from Texas" nickname.    

Complimented by tracks drawn predominantly from their Tres Hombres and Fandango albums this is a true best of ZZ Top in the '70s.  

This DVD was originally released as part of the two-disc Double Down Live set in autumn 2009 but is now being made available as a single disc. This musical release from rock band ZZ Top captures a live performance by the band, recorded at the Grugahalle in Essen, Germany for the legendary TV series Rockpalast.The performance features many selections from the group's album Deguello, released recently before the show. ~ Cammila Collar, Rovi
