Pink Floyd Records' distribution deals will see the new LPs issued through Warner Music in the U.K. and Europe and Sony Music's Columbia imprint in North America and the rest of the world. "We're proud to continue to support one of the world's greatest and most influential bands," says Warner chairman Max Lousada. "This is an exciting new chapter in our long-standing partnership with Pink Floyd and we look forward to working with them to help curate their remarkable body of work."

"We are proud to continue the long standing relationship in North America and beyond between Columbia Records and Pink Floyd," adds Columbia chief Howard Stringer. "We are excited to work together with the band on their incredible musical legacy."

Released in November 1969, this experimental album consisted of solo works by each member of the band along with a disc of live material. For many years, this double-LP was one of the most popular albums in Pink Floyd's pre-Dark Side of the Moon output, containing a live LP and a studio LP for the price of one. The live set, recorded in Birmingham and Manchester in June 1969, is limited to four numbers, all drawn from the group's first two LPs or their then-recent singles. Featuring the band's second lineup (i.e., no Syd Barrett), the set shows off a very potent group, their sound held together on-stage by Nick Mason's assertive drumming and Roger Waters' powerful bass work, which keep the proceedings moving no matter how spaced out the music gets.
